Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
At SEL Teddy Connections, we want every order to arrive complete, accurate, and ready to create a meaningful learning experience. Because many of our classroom kits, educational materials, and program orders are prepared specifically for each customer, certain purchases may have different return or cancellation requirements.
Classroom Kits & Physical Products
Unopened and unused physical products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused
- Items must be unopened
- Items must be in their original condition and packaging
- A return request must be submitted within 14 days of confirmed delivery
Customers must contact SEL Teddy Connections before returning any item. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Curriculum & Educational Materials
Due to the proprietary nature of our curriculum, lesson plans, educator guides, digital materials, printable resources, and other educational content, these materials are non-refundable once they have been delivered, downloaded, accessed, or provided to the customer.
This policy helps protect the original educational content and intellectual property of SEL Teddy Connections.
Custom, School & District Orders
Custom orders, large-volume orders, school purchase orders, district orders, and materials prepared specifically for an organization may be non-refundable once production or order preparation has begun.
If you need to make a change to a school or district order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes before fulfillment begins.
Something Arrived Damaged or Incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, please contact SEL Teddy Connections within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide:
- Order number
- Name of school, organization, or purchaser
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect item when applicable
We will review the issue and, when appropriate, arrange a replacement, exchange, missing-item shipment, or other resolution at no additional cost.
Exchanges
Eligible unopened physical products may be exchanged subject to product availability.
Curriculum, digital materials, customized materials, used teddy bears, and completed teddy-building products are not eligible for exchange.
If additional shipping charges apply to an optional exchange, those charges may be the responsibility of the customer.
Hosted Workshops & Events
Hosted workshop and event deposits may be subject to separate cancellation terms based on the event date, materials ordered, travel arrangements, group size, and preparation already completed.
Specific cancellation and rescheduling terms will be provided when a hosted workshop or event is booked.
Cancelling an Order
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
Orders that have not entered fulfillment or preparation may be eligible for cancellation and refund.
Once an order has entered production, customization, curriculum delivery, or fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be available.
Return Shipping
Unless an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, original shipping charges are non-refundable and the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
SEL Teddy Connections will cover reasonable replacement shipping costs when we confirm that an order arrived damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect.
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow several business days after approval for the refund to appear, depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
School Purchase Orders
Orders placed through school or district purchase orders may be subject to the purchasing and invoicing terms documented on the approved quote, invoice, or purchase order.
